Grief is a journey we all must travel at one point or another in life.

While there are no words that will instantly make you feel better, you can take a moment to stop and bless the journey of grief.

We created this Blessism for Grief to help you do just that.

This Blessism is a gentle reminder that it’s important to take the time you need to heal, when going through grief or loss. Even though there may be times when you still feel down, you can take a moment to honor and remember your loved one and the memories you shared.

While your journey of grief may never completely end – it will fade over time.

Blessism for Grief

I bless and honor my journey of grief today. I know grieving is a process that never truly ends.

Although the journey is often long and painful, I can still find moments of joy within the heartbreak.

I can honor the memories with love and compassion.

I bless this painful time in my life and give myself time to heal.

I know it’s OK to feel sad, for a while.

I know it’s OK to feel angry, for a while and it’s OK to take the time I NEED to heal.

I can honor the beautiful memories of our life together and remember the love.

Today I give myself the time I need to grieve.

While this journey of grief may never completely end – it will fade over time.

Today I honor the spirit of love in my life and the memories that live within my heart.

My life was richer because of you.

I understand what love is because of you.

I bless and am grateful for the beautiful journey of love we traveled together.

Even though there may be times when I still feel down, I remember you with love and I know someday we will meet again.

Thank you for the beautiful gift of love you gave me.

I shall cherish it forever.
